Thank you all for sharing your personal stories. The ENP will not
prevent all crime, but certainly helps to make our neighborhood a
safer place.

We have been members since moving to the neighborhood in
2013, but have only called the officer a hand full of times.
Most recently in September when I was traveling for work and my
security company called to report a glass break alert. My wife
and 5 year-old were driving home at the time. I was 2.5 hours
away - a very helpless feeling. The ENP officer was on duty and
arrived at our house within a few minutes. I immediately pulled
up our security cameras on my phone and watched the officer
inspect the perimeter of our home. He waited until my wife and
daughter arrived and walked through the house with them to
ensure everything was safe. Knowing they were safe when I was
2.5 hours away was the best feeling in the world. It turned out
to be a false alarm but DPD had already been dispatched. My
alarm company was unable to cancel the DPD request - DPD arrived
3 hours later to investigate the alarm.
Please consider joining the ENP or renewing your membership if
you haven’t already.

Thank you Donna and others for sharing
the benefits of ENP. This was a huge bonus to us when we
moved to this neighborhood that this service is offered.
Not only does it deter crime by having the police officers
drive through/sit in their car as mentioned, but the
potential for faster response time is even more vital,
since the Dallas Police are having terribly long wait
times for 911 calls. I keep reading terrible stories on
Facebook in other parts of Dallas where people waited
incredibly long times on Dallas 911 calls.

We live on Meadowdale, and we are members of ENP and
have been for years. One time our alarm went off, and
the ENP was there so fast and checked out our house for
us and was texting us updates. The regular Dallas Police
would not have been there as quickly!

Very low cost compared to the benefit. We would love for
enough people to sign up so we could get our
neighborhood more hours of ENP. This neighborhood is
such a wonderful place to live with a great group of
neighbors!
Just got this from Ring. 1/2 of the

our homes.
Neighbors, PLEASE join or renew your
membership in our ENP. The number of
hours of patrol we receive is
directly related to how much revenue
is generated by memberships. At the
current low membership rate, we will
have to reduce the number of patrol
hours. Scary in light of the very
slow response time of Dallas Police,
and the rising crime rate in our
area.

The rate is incredibly reasonable
for the personal protection we
receive. LESS THAN $1/DAY!

Let’s band together as the great,
helpful neighborhood we are and help
one another by getting as many
memberships/patrol hours as we can.

I find it unfair that those who
don’t join are “piggybacking” off
the protection procured by those who
do join.

And don’t forget the incredibly
generous subsidization offer of Jen
and John Sanders.

Best regards to all, Merry Christmas
and Happy Holidays. Liza
