What we do have is the LJE Extended Neighborhood Patrol and our participation in it. Whether you believe you’re getting your money’s worth out of it or not is beside the point. I look at it as each of us contributing for the good of the community in order to demonstrate that we are a part of it. To me, that’s what those little white signs indicate. We have a great community in LJE that seems to really care about one another. I see it in the emails time after time. We take care of each other and supporting LJE-ENP is another way to put those feelings into practice. Also, the more people who sign up, the more patrol hours we get.

Christmas is not the best time to be collecting money, but maybe instead of your children or grandchildren buying you “stuff”—why not have them buy you a membership to the LJE-ENP or at least buy a portion of your membership?

Matt Sharp has previously emailed easy-to-follow directions on how to renew or sign up.
