   <div>Last fall we had a mature red oak uproot and the top of it landed on our roof, breaking a rafter and damaging some shingles.  A roofer we have used for  over 20 years to do minor roof repairs fixed the damage for a reasonable price. He has never tried to get us to replace our roof. (Although when we do, we will use him). He also gave us the name of someone who repaired the soffit and gutter.</div>

     We had a large branch fall on our roof over the weekend.  Surprisingly, the damaged area is quite small and doesn’t seem extensive.  Assuming it is going to rain sometime in the future (finger’s crossed), I would like to get this checked out before we have water leaking into the house. 
     <br>
     I’m really trying to avoid calling a major roof repair company, as I know they will want to replace the entire roof and go through our insurance company, etc.  Does anyone have a lead on a small business that does repairs?  Want someone reputable and honest.
