We had a lone baby duck in our pool last week when we arrived home after
being out of town :( we made a little home for it and it actually survived
the night! Took it to Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation in Hutchens, TX south
of Dallas the next morning. They specialize in taking in abandoned or
injured birds! The ladies there were all very nice. It’s completely run by
volunteers, so they do ask that you give a donation when you arrive, but I
was happy to do that to ensure that our little abandoned baby duck would be
safe and survive!
If you need somewhere to take the chicks, that would be a great place! I do
think they close at 5:00, so maybe take them in the morning?
Good luck! They are very cute!!
