Thanks everyone for the good info re trash, recycling and Bulk pickup.  Esp to Taylor for posting the official calendar.
Now that we're all saving $300 by not getting a Code Compliance violation,  WE CAN ALL AFFORD TO JOIN THE ENP, which was the subject of the original message of this thread.
If you haven't joined, please be sure to read Matt Sharp's original message and note that LJE is at risk of LOSING PATROL HOURS due to lack of membership.
Thanks to everyone for doing your part (less than $1/day!) in keeping LJE a safe, happy place to live and raise our families.
Happy New Year!  Liza

I noticed last week that the first pickup was earlier than before and order was reversed ie trash first.

The key is to remember that the pick up week is the 3rd MONDAY of the month-which is not necessarily the third week of the month.
Bulk pick up begins in January on Monday the 16th. (But you may begin putting your items on the curb the Thursday before-which is the 12th.)
If you look ahead to February, the 3rd Monday is the 20th.  (But you may put your items out the Thursday before on Feb 16th).

I read you could put it out at 7am on the Monday preceding the bulk pick up.  Is that not correct?

Thank you to the 91 neighbors who have renewed/joined the ENP for 2023!
We are currently 12 members below our 2022 membership.  Our goal for 2023 is to increase neighborhood DPD patrol by 5 hours per week to 85 - we are currently at risk for actually reducing patrol hours.  Please help keep our neighborhood safe by joining the ENP.
 - Help to keep your family, home and neighborhood safe - Protect your home's value - Provide peace of mind - Our dues are 50-75% less than nearby neighborhoods - Joining takes less than 1 minute http://www.lesjardinsenp.org/membership/
   - ENP provides 80 hours/week of patrol by off-duty Dallas police officers.  Our goal is to increase weekly patrol to 85 hours in 2023 - this requires members.
   - Members have access to ENP private cell phone carried by the officer on duty.
   - Members can request additional police patrol when out of town.
   - The annual fee has not increased in the past 7 years, even after providing our Dallas officers a $5/hour raise this year.  This is possible because of increased neighborhood participation.
