Subject: [Neighbors] Update on ONCOR Tree Trimming
I just spoke with Kenneth Elliott, the gentleman who left the green flyers at our homes.
1) They are not going to cut around the “drop lines” (the lines which go from the main pole to our homes), UNLESS there is vegetation at the point where the drop line attaches to the main pole.
2) He would not commit to them sanitizing the saws between trees or painting the cuts (to prevent spread of Oak Wilt Disease), but did say they would use the “most recent accepted practices” to protect oak trees.
3) Due to the recent rain, he has no idea when they will get to LJE, but you may call and put your name on a list to be called with a date for your property. 1-800-518-2375.
