Give it about a week. That’s how long we waited for correction of the last such event. A brutal experience and UPS delivery is particularly awful. I received a notice after Christmas that a delivery requiring signature would be delivered on the promised date (Friday 12/27 between 3 and 5 pm so made plans to be on site by 2:30.
At approximately 2 pm I received a “sorry we missed you” text showing 1:45 attempted delivery and that package wouldn’t be redelivered but could be picked up at a CVS drug store a couple miles away the following Monday 12/30.. When I showed up at the drug store they pointed out the UPS fine print that “service had changed” and package wouldn’t be available for another week (Monday, January 6.
I finally got a real UPS service rep on the phone ªafter extended hold and admonitions to use their worthless website) and asked pointed questions about their inattention to timing. The first BS excuse offered was that the time on the notice was just an estimate that I was quickly able to dispel. My request that they simply forward the package to the Denver address of the desired recipient was denied based on their policy that even though they screwed up the delivery to me they couldn’t forward the package based on my request but only if they received notice from the original shipper. Don’t use them if you have a choice.
