Thanks, Nancy. There's also a hefty fine for blowing grass clippings and
leaves into the street or storm drains. Property owners could also be held
liable. Attached is the notice that came with our water bill last May.

Hi neighbors,
I've noticed recently that some of the lawn contractors on several different
streets are blowing yard leaves into the street. You may not know your yard
person is doing that, but a gentle reminder that the leaves will eventually
flow into the storm drains, potentially clogging them. I would hate to see
any of our streets or yards flooded after a heavy rain because the storm
drains are clogged.
Bagging up the leaves is the best way to go.
